Wandsworth CLC has a new home

Wandsworth City Learning Centre has relocated to Alderbrook School, Balham over the Summer. The service is fully operational and raring to continue to support ALL computing issues you have!

The new CLC telephone number - 0208 675 5501 will be live from 9th September - the old number, 0208 875 1699 should be diverting to the CLC team.

Education Minister Elizabeth Truss has announced funding of £1.1 million for the British Computer Society (BCS) - the Chartered Institute for IT - to develop a computing readiness programme aimed specifically at primary school teachers with no prior experience of computer science.

CAS (Computing at School) is looking for both primary and secondary teachers to apply to become CAS master teachers. CAS, in association with Naace and other partners have published a guide for primary school teachers. The guide explains how primary teachers can get started with the new curriculum and provides many pointers to excellent resources and ideas for building an innovative and exciting curriculum.
